Bid on this cabinet size specimen of crazy calcite from the Sterling Hill Mine in Ogdensburg, New Jersey. Crazy calcite is a localized name for blebs of calcite and blebs of dolomite intermixed in one matrix. The uniqueness of crazy calcite is that the calcite blebs fluoresce red/orange and the dolomite fluoresces purple.
Two sides of this piece were cut  allowing the specimen to sit either vertically or horizontally on your specimen shelf.
