A hand picked collection of "Fluorescent Fireworks" from the Long Lake Zinc Mine in Ontario, Canada.
Fifteen ounces or more of Micro, Thumbnail, and Miniature specimens with varying amounts of Calcite (SW/UV red), Diopside (SW/UV blue), Chondrodite (SW/UV yellow), and Aragonite (SW/UV blue/white).  Some pieces may also contain bright crystals of Chalcopyrite.
Long Lake minerals are known for their beautiful pastel colors, bright "Lightning Bolts" and spectacular starry night "Galaxy" patterns.
From the Long Lake Zinc Mine, Parham, Olden Township, Frontenac County, Ontario, Canada.
Assorted specimens, assorted sizes.
Must be viewed with a short wave ( 254 nm ) ultraviolet lamp.
Pictures taken with a 12 MP camera and a 9 watt Way Too Cool short wave UV lamp.
