Description

Nepheline Syenite  "Yooperlite" with nice bright fluorescent Sodalite. Fantastic sample with excellent brightness and densely packed Sodalite at the top of the stone and grades its way down.
Rounded and smooth from tumbling around in lake Michigan.
Collected in Milwaukee county Wisconsin along the lake Michigan shoreline.
159 grams.

I use a ConvoyS2 LONG WAVE 365nm UV flashlight with a band pass filter installed for finding these and the photos, you will need one as well to see the fluorescence as nicely as seen in photos.
