    Description

Nepheline Syenite rock "Yooperlite" with orange fluorescing Sodalite in long wave UV light.
Not as much Sodalite visible on this sample,  and you WILL need a filtered Convoy series UV light to see the fluorescence well as shown in the photos. There also is a coating of clay minerals that is likely covering more Sodalite on the opposite side.
This is a fragment from a large boulder (1+ ton) "The Port Boulder" that was chiseled off.
From Ozaukee Co Wisconsin, Lake Michigan.
    102 grams
    2-3/4" in length
I can combine shipping with other purchases.
    NOTE!
Photos taken with a 365nm Convoy2 filtered Long Wave UV light. You will need one similar as well to see the fluorescence. Cheap unfiltered long wave uv lights work ok but a filtered quality light gives preferable visual results. Thx.
