    Mont Saint Hilaire
    in Quebec , Canada.
    Under normal light this piece is made up of numerous  blue blobs (phenocrysts) of sodalite in the matrix. The phenocrysts in this piece are fantastic geometric/crystal shapes. This sodalite fluoresces  under long  and short wave! The matrix contains some aegirine and natrolite. (photos : 4 - 6 SW)
