    Description

Nice example of Fluorite (LW/UV blue, Convoy S2+ royal blue),
    Apatite (LW/UV orange)
and Magnetite from the historic iron mine developed by Thomas A. Edison.  A classic Edison experiment on an industrial level. Even though this mine became obsolete in short order and Edison lost millions of dollars, he was quoted as saying "He never had so much fun".
Note, small areas appearing pink are actually reflected light from my lamp.  Fluorite is all about the "blue".
From the Thomas Edison Iron Mine, Sparta Mountain, near Ogdensburg, Sussex County, New Jersey.
    Small cabinet sized specimen - 2.8 X 2.5 X 1.9 inches
    Weight - 13.1 oz
    * All specimens come with a complete identification label.
Must be viewed with a long wave lamp, or Convoy S2+ LWUV flashlight.
Pictures taken with a 12 MP camera and a 9 watt Way Too Cool long wave UV lamp and a Convoy S2+ UV flashlight.
