GUATEMALAN JADE MAYAN JAGUAR CARVING
This beautiful jade was carved in the likeness of the "El Baul" Jaguar. It is a replica of a real stone artifact found guarding a cacao plantation in southern Guatemala. I love the attention to detail in this piece! We have smaller ones that can me made into necklaces as well.
It was made at our shop in Copan Ruinas, Honduras by a descendant of the Ancient Maya.
Jade has been used as a sacred stone for centuries, bringing serenity, wisdom, balance and all things associated with the best of spiritual practices.
This one was carved from a light green "mint" jade that has several darker green veins.
