A RICH SCHEELITE CRYSTAL SPECIMEN ACQUIRED BY ME FROM AN ASSOCIATE OF THE MINE OPERATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!  That's right, this was acquired from the mine owner at the Ophir Hill Mine, Tooele County, UTAH, USA.  This is one of the best and largest specimens brought up!!  Due to size and weight between 40 to 50 lbs., must be picked up or driven to where you are.
Endeavoring to bring high quality fluorescents to the advanced collector and future displayer of fluorescent minerals!  THIS ONE IS A RARE OFFERING OF SCHEELITE CRYSTALS (THOUSANDS OF THEM SPRINKLED ON A LARGE MATRIX) LOOKING LIKE A SEA OF BLUE, with a great Calcite vein and ancillary crystals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

example of Scheelite CRYSTALS (fl. blue SW)...[this is the true sea blue color...rare] with Calcite CRYSTALS (fl. red SW) from the Ophir Hill Mine, Ophir District, Tooele County, Utah, USA.  FANTASTIC and NEVER SEEN BEFORE OR IN THE FUTURE example of this fluorescent species from this locale!  This is the first time I am offering it online.  The fluorescent area consists of a
richly
CONCENTRATED SCHEELITE crystals on matrix, with fl. red calcite crystals on the perimeter and some in the middle and back of this piece.  The predominant fluorescence is sky blue and red SW.
It's out of this world in person!  VERY RICH!!!!!!!!!  One of the best scheelite specimens you'll ever have the chance of owning.  It is heavy for its size, as you would imagine, and weighs in at 40-50 pounds.
Displays wonderfully, sits nicely with natural base.
The size of the specimen is 16" (40 cm) by 16" (40 cm) by 4" (10 cm), a HUGE AND MUSEUM SIZED specimen.  Will not be shipped!
I really have been considering keeping this one to myself, but I have a son entering college and figured for the right price I would consider parting with it, this material is rarely ever seen for sale, and NEVER at this size and concentration.  These specimens do not come up for sale often, or should I say pretty much never!  I may be the only online source for this quality of material at present.
