Description

Colorful specimen with a pea sized mass of Sonolite (indicated by yellow arrow), Willemite (SW/UV green), lots of very bright green reaction rims surrounding the Willemite masses, black masses of Franklinite, Calcite (SW/UV red), streaks of orange Secondary Zincite and blocky masses of rich red Zincite.
And on top of all this, the Willemite exhibits very bright and long lasting "Afterglow".
This is a great white light specimen as well as a beautiful SW/UV piece.
From the Sterling Hill Zinc Mine, Ogdensburg, Sussex County, New Jersey.
