    Description

This is a portable, hands-free display for your glowing rocks and uranium glass!  Rocks are not included.
This mini UV LW display light can be used for certain rocks and minerals that have fluorescent properties and show up under 395nm longwave UV.  (LW=longwave).
I created this light as a way to display the rocks I found on the shores of Lake Superior that are made of syenite and have fluorescent sodalite inside the syenite, which makes them glow under a UV light.  The pink rocks in the photos are UV reactive Mengano Calcite
It is difficult to take a photo and capture how brilliant your rocks will glow under this light, the photos do not capture the glow as well as it is in real life.  I have the best outcome using yooperlites or UV reative pink calcite.
NOTE:  This is a UV light and please AVOID LOOKING DIRECTLY AT THIS LIGHT as it is considered a hazard when looked upon without proper eye protection.
Please keep this light on a lower shelf or low table to avoid any chance to look directly at the UV bulbs when illuminated.
This light takes 3 AAA batteries- not included.
The diameter of the glass is 2 7/8".
    Overall height is approximately 4.5".
This is only the display light, NO rocks are included.
This UV light is 395nm wavelength.  This is longwave.
There is a patent pending for this device.  One lamp with UV device is included.
This product is returnable, however the shipping costs both to you and for the return are not included in the refund amount.
