Vintage large man's tzute from Chichicastenango, Guatemala. Probably from the third or fourth quarter of the 20
th
century.
All cotton. 14-1/2
” long (average) tassels of fine cotton yarn with three woven “disks” on each.
Good condition with some fading, thread pulls and minor stains.
Sides are selvages with top and bottom edges turned under and stitched as is typical. Se
